Soundbird V1 is Saramonic's condenser recording microphone that supports super unidirectional recording, suitable for filming, talk show editing and podcasting. The Saramonic SoundBird V1 is a professional super cardioid shotgun microphone that delivers clear, detailed sound with full frequency response for interviews, filmmaking, outdoor video shooting, and other editing work. Equipped with a high pass filter and -10dB PAD to adjust the sound to your needs. Directional design, frequency response and sensitivity are specially optimized to enhance dialogue filtering and sound reception.

Super directional pickup design

Saramonic has designed the Soundbird V1 with supercardioid recording capabilities that primarily capture sounds coming from the front of the mic and a little behind, making recording and interaction between the person in front of and behind the lens easier. Record it all.

Filters noise easily based on the long structure

The V1's filter tube is mounted at the top of the microphone to help eliminate stray sounds entering the microphone. This will minimize unwanted transients as well as post-production time.

Flexibly adjust as desired

Users can always know the current operating mode of the SoundBird V1 thanks to the LED indicator light. The first button activates the high-pass filter, which eliminates unwanted low sound frequencies such as wind, footsteps or distant traffic noise. The second button allows increasing the volume up to 10dB without creating different sound patterns. The third button is the On/Off button, which controls the AA battery inside the device.

When using an external source to power the SoundBird V1, the On Off button will display green. Meanwhile, when using the internal AA battery, the button will turn blue. If the battery is low, the button will change to red to signal.

Flexible power source usage

You can supply power directly from the outlet to the Saramonic Soundbird V1 microphone or use AA Batteries to continuously replenish the power needed when filming and recording outdoors. This is an extremely convenient point of this shotgun microphone.
