The KSE1200 is not for those who like strong bass or are looking for a warm, happy sound. But for those who want a detailed, full sound, the KSE1200 is an extremely suitable hi-fi system. Classical music, jazz, rock acoustics, blues, folk, or country music will sound best through this device.

Compact design and good sound insulation

The Shure KSE1200 headphones are compact, lightweight, and designed to minimize wearing fatigue. The headphone body is plastic, but very comfortable and fits the user's headphone tightly. In terms of design, the headphone housing is transparent, showing the black parts underneath.

The Shure KSE1200 headphones come with three types of sound-isolating ear cushions (also known as tips): soft rubber cushions, soft foam cushions, and three-leaf cushions. This variety gives you the most suitable buffer that will ensure you get the maximum level of sound insulation.

Also on the top of the amplifier is a status indicator, 3.5mm input and headphone output. At the bottom are the DC input port and input switch. Here you can choose 0db or -10dB. This switch reduces the analog input signal to prevent clipping from high output audio sources. Turn on the switch when the sound meter indicates clipping. Reduce the source volume if the signal is still clipping when the -10dB switch is activated.

Crisp sound quality of Shure KSE1200

The KSE1200 headset focuses on realism, detail and sophistication. The quality of a drum strike, the subtlety of a singer's voice, the sound of the piano keys are all brought out in detail - but never to the point of losing sight of the overall picture. In other words, the songs do not lose their coherence even though the sounds are reproduced in detail.

Songs with lyrics are accurately reproduced by the KSE1200 without any blurring or sound reduction.

The device's soundproofing ability also contributes significantly to listening quality, helping to enhance the clarity of sound from the KSE1200, allowing you to clearly recognize each type of sound. The wide sound field of the included headphones also contributes to improving sound output quality.

Electrostatic driver

While regular headphones are plugged directly into the music source, electrostatic headphones require a specialized high-voltage amplifier to "excite" or charge the driver. The bias voltage for the KSE1200 is 200V.

The amplifier circuitry in the KSE1200 has been redesigned and optimized for analog input to further reduce noise levels.

Lightweight design thanks to no DAC and ShurePlus PLAY app

The Shure KSE1200 headphones do not have a DAC like the KSE1500, so the amplifier is lighter and suitable for you to carry anywhere.

The EQ balance feature available on the DAC will be compensated by the ShurePlus Play application available on Android and iOS.

Great battery life of Shure KSE1200

USB rechargeable lithium ion battery provides 12 hours of playback. Connect the DC input to a computer, external battery, or AC power source with a USB Type A to Micro-B cable and you can easily charge the device.
