The Vmic4 is a dual-directional on-camera shotgun microphone that captures high-quality audio from the front and rear. An additional 3.5 mm input port allows users to add Lavalier or wireless microphones to support various applications.

Switchable volume control (-10dB/0dB/+10dB) and low-cut filter (200Hz) help you customize the output to your needs. 3.5mm headphone port supports real-time monitoring.

With included 3.5mm TRS and TRRS output cables, the Vmic4 is compatible with smartphones and cameras. Its integrated cold shoe allows users to attach peripheral accessories such as lights, monitors, etc

2-sided recording with excellent quality

The Vmic4 comes with two acoustic filters, a supercardioid front-facing filter and a cardioid back-facing filter. So you can from the front, or both sides of the microphone at the same time. The above feature makes this Saramonic audio device perfect for interview and vlog filming.

Vmic4 has 3 levels of gain, with +10 dB for clean gain on cameras with noisy preamps, 0 dB for high quality preamps, and -10dB for recording loud sounds without distortion or breakage .

This microphone also incorporates a 200Hz high-frequency filter to eliminate low-frequency noise that can ruin recordings.

Various audio ports support multi-person recording

The Vmic4 has a 3.5mm microphone input with powering capabilities, allowing you to plug in a second microphone to your camera or mobile device. From there, you can have an additional wireless recording system, wired Lavalier microphone or another 3rd party microphone, without the need for a mixer.

Vmic4 has a 3.5mm headphone output to monitor your audio while recording. This is an important feature if your camera or mobile device lacks a headphone port.
