Vmic Mini series from Saramonic is a series of compact directional microphones capable of recording excellent audio for your videos, podcasts or vlogs. The vibration reduction bracket that comes with the mic helps prevent noise from collisions or vibrations. The Vmic Mini's 3.5mm TRS & TRRS output cable allows you to record audio to both DSLR cameras and smartphones.

Saramonic Vmic Mini is a mini-shotgun microphone line that is extremely compact and lighter than the Vmic4 or Vmic5, and can be mounted directly on DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras and video cameras, helping you easily record high-quality audio as in studio.

This premium Saramonic microphone can also connect to smartphones and tablets via the included cable, significantly improving the sound quality of your mobile products.

Guaranteed high sound quality

Ideal for filming on the go, the Vmic Mini doesn't weigh down the camera at all, allowing you to still adjust the angle and record audio easily. The high-quality capsule microphone has a very good signal/noise ratio of 75 dB and an impressive sensitivity of -35 dB.

The Vmic Mini's cardioid recording pattern specializes in capturing sound from the front of the microphone, while eliminating out-of-phase sound from the back and sides. This provides wider sound pickup than other on-camera microphones and more audio flexibility when shooting on camera or mounted on a boompole or tripod.

Saramonic Vmic Mini is easy to operate and connect

Vmic Mini II comes with both TRS and TRRS ports; TRS for cameras, audio recorders, mixers, and more - and TRRS for phones, tablets, and laptops.

It's also quite easy to combine the TRRS cable with a Lightning or USB-C adapter (not included in the box) for mobile devices without a 3.5mm headphone port. Just plug it in and you can start recording. The mic requires no complicated setup or battery charging, and there are no buttons or switches to operate. Just plug it in and you can use it.

The highlight of the Vmic Mini shotgun microphone is the device's unique vibration stabilizer. They're designed to keep the mic in place even as you move. More specifically, Vmic Mini II also has a Rycote® Lyre® mount for extremely high stability under high-speed travel and strong wind conditions.

The Saramoni Vmic Mini recording microphones all have a foam mic cover to block noise and wind. Some versions also come with a fur mic cover to minimize wind when moving and recording.
